About the Centre
The Learning Unlimited Academic (LU.ORG) London Examination Centre is part of our wider global education operations and is based in central London, near Bank Underground Station. The centre is an officially recognised invigilation venue for Pearson Edexcel, LAMDA and the Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB). All examination rooms and invigilation procedures conform to the published standards of UK home examination centres, so that students sit their papers under conditions that mirror the real examination experience.

Examinations We Host
Pearson Edexcel GCSE / International GCSE (iGCSE)
We host the full range of Pearson Edexcel GCSE and International GCSE (iGCSE) subjects, with particular capacity for GCSE Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
Please note: for science subjects, we recommend candidates sit iGCSE Science rather than GCSE Science, to avoid the practical-laboratory component required by GCSE Science.
Pearson Edexcel A-Level / International A-Level (IAL)
We host the full range of Pearson Edexcel A-Level and International A-Level (IAL) subjects, including A-Level Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
Please note: International A-Level entries are accepted only for international students who previously studied IAL overseas and are now resident in the UK.
LAMDA Examinations
We deliver the LAMDA examination programme across communication and performance pathways, with particular focus on Speaking in Public and Speaking Verse & Prose.
Examination sessions are scheduled throughout the year and are assessed by senior LAMDA examiners.
ISEB Invigilation Centre
We are an authorised invigilation centre for ISEB — the Independent Schools Examinations Board.
ISEB examinations are designed for students moving from preparatory and junior schools into UK senior independent schools, covering the Common Entrance (CE) 11+ and 13+ assessments and the Common Pre-Tests (CPT).

Registration Process
Step 1. Email exams@lu.org with the candidate's name, age, nationality, current school, and the intended subject codes (for example, IAL Mathematics 9MA0, IGCSE Chinese 0509).
Step 2. We will respond within two working days with available sittings, fees and registration deadlines.
Step 3. Once the family confirms, the centre formally registers the candidate with Pearson Edexcel / LAMDA / ISEB and issues an examination admission slip.
Step 4. On the day of the examination, the candidate attends with their admission slip and identification. Results are issued to the candidate on each board's official results day via the centre.
