About Our Admissions Practice
Learning Unlimited Academic has been advising families on international school and university admissions since the academy was founded in 2008. Over eighteen consecutive years we have guided thousands of students into the United Kingdom (including boarding schools and universities), United States undergraduate and graduate programmes, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore — with documented offers from Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, LSE, UCL, the Ivy League, Stanford, Chicago, Toronto, UBC, Melbourne, the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore.
Unlike "last-minute" admissions agencies, we advocate long-term mentoring, evidence-based planning and academically honest preparation: we begin working with most students in early secondary school; we benchmark every application against the published admissions standards of the world's most selective universities; and we will not engage in ghost-writing, fabricated research, or any other practice that compromises the integrity of an application.
Why Families Work With Us
Eighteen years of expertise — a recognised industry leader. Since 2008, LU.ORG (Learning Unlimited Academic) has spent eighteen years deepening its expertise in international education and growing into a recognised industry leader, distinguished by consistent teaching quality and professional service. We keep pace with the latest from Cambridge, Edexcel, the IBO and the College Board, and partner deeply with leading schools, universities and exam boards so that our guidance is always grounded in current information.
End-to-end admissions service. From initial diagnostic and university shortlisting, through profile-building, essay supervision, admissions-test coaching and interview preparation, to visa support and overseas guardianship — Learning Unlimited Academic provides a single, accountable point of contact, so families never have to assemble a chain of separate suppliers.
Precision in university selection. Our counsellors know the admissions policies and curricular cultures of every major destination university; we recommend institutions on the basis of an honest analysis of academic record, interests and long-term career direction, not on commission or convenience.
Examiner-and-alumni co-supervision. Each student is supported by two figures: a senior examiner who understands how applications and admissions tests are graded, and a recent alumnus or alumna of the target university who knows the real culture of that institution.

Parents' Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. When should admissions planning begin? We recommend a first conversation in Year 9 (age 13–14), so that IGCSE choices support A-Level choices, and A-Level choices support the intended undergraduate degree. Intensive work begins in Year 11–12.
Q2. Do you write personal statements for students? No. Every personal statement, supplemental essay and college application essay must be written by the student. Our mentors provide structural feedback and language critique in writing, and we keep a record of every round of feedback. We will not participate in ghost-writing.
Q3. How can we assess whether our child is competitive for Oxbridge? We offer a complimentary diagnostic — subject baseline test, English-language profile and family interview — and provide a written, candid evaluation of fit.
Q4. Do you guarantee admissions outcomes? Responsible agencies do not promise outcomes. What we guarantee is the integrity of our process, the verifiable credentials of our mentors, a documented written record of every feedback round, and a firm commitment never to compromise the academic honesty of any application.
